Thành, you are working as a product designer at Cosuno. How does a normal work day look like for you?

I’m quite fortunate to have the luxury of working from home. I normally combine my breakfast with checking emails and planning my day, which wouldn’t have been easy if I had to be on-site all the time. When it comes to a usual workday as a product designer, it varies a lot from day to day, depending on which stage we are in the process. I spend most of my time alternating between my laptop and sticky notes, making design magic with graphs, charts, scribbles, and UI elements. Sometimes you’d find me on calls with our lovely lead designer, product managers, developers, and clients, either trying to gather and define design requirements for the product/features or validate the design from the business/technical perspectives. Otherwise, I’d either be learning German, listening to a design podcast, connecting with my coworkers or busy choosing the tea I’d drink for the afternoon tea.

Why did you decide to work here and what do you like the most about it?

I’ve always been interested in working for a tech startup where I can take full ownership of what I’m working on, which is exactly what Cosuno has been offering me. At Cosuno, one’s contribution to the team/product is always recognized and appreciated, regardless of their position in the company, and that’s something I love most about Cosuno.

On a sunny Saturday afternoon, where were you to be found doing what?

I’d be taking a long walk by the Weser if the weather is nice, otherwise you’d find me in the most random bookstores or tea shops in Bremen.

What do you like most about the team culture at Cosuno?

Everyone at Cosuno seems to be genuinely kind and respectful towards one another, which, in my case, almost eliminates the distance between people that the remote work culture brought about.

In your opinion, what is the most important ingredient of a Startup?

From my point of view, people would be one of the most important aspects of a Startup. It's mainly about the right person for the job and the right person for the rest of the team. I believe an organization with a tight-knit culture can encourage its members to grow together and do wonders to achieve common goals.
